KSC Group has taken part in the International Railway Salon of machinery and equipment designed for the 1520 track gauge “PRO//Motion.Expo 2023” where it presented new solutions in the field of development and production of Russian component base for various types of transport.
On its stand, KSC Group presented to the visitors a new generation multi-channel traction converter for modified mainline AC freight EMUs, series 2 (3,4), ES5K “Ermak”, with enhanced reliability indicators. The company has also presented the heat-exchange and compressor equipment unit - key elements of climate control systems for state-of-the-art trains. Production of heat exchangers and freon scroll compressors, which were not produced in post-Soviet Russia, was launched at the premises of KSC Industrial Technopark in Tver.
In addition, on its stand, KSC Group presented interior elements for Ivolga EMUs, including passenger seats for the saloon, designed and manufactured in Russia.
During the first two days of the exhibition, more than 5,000 people viewed the KSC Group stand and more than 10,000 people visited it during the whole period of the exhibition.
At the open exposition, the salon participants and visitors viewed the components produced by KSC Group on full-scale prototypes of modern railway transport - new generation Ivolga 4.0 and EP2DM EMUs, Baltiets subway car, TEM23 and EMKA2 locomotives.
International Railway Salon of machinery and equipment designed for the 1520 track gauge “PRO//Motion.Expo 2023” is a large-scale platform for cooperation and exchange of experience between industry experts, managers and specialists of production companies and technology developers. It affords an opportunity to demonstrate new samples of railway equipment, including during the “Days of Open Roads.” In 2023, from August 24 to 27, the salon was held for the first time in St. Petersburg on the territory of the Russian Railway Museum. 130 companies presented their products.
