The Key Systems and Components (KSC) Group of Companies has allocated 20 million rubbles to help Tver hospitals treating COVID-19 patients.
The Regional Clinical Hospital and the Kalinin Central District Clinical Hospital in Tver received support from KSC. The funds were used to purchase the following medical equipment and general supplies for infectious diseases, surgical, intensive care and therapeutic departments of hospitals: modern portable lung motor and ultrasound instruments, video bronchoscopes, portable water treatment devices, equipment for arrangement of additional beds and other vital materials.
The supplies of equipment and materials to the hospital commenced on April 16. Charitable assistance of the machine-building holding, which is the largest in the Tver Region, is provided with the support of the Tver Regional Branch of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia, in addition to measures taken at the state level.
Taras Spivak, General Director of KSC Group of Companies:
- During the pandemic, most medical institutions face an acute shortage of resources and equipment. We decided to support the hospitals of Tver, since 20 of our companies are located in this city and the Tver Region, and 3,500 of our employees live and work here. I hope that this contribution will help medical professionals, who are real contemporary heroes, in their daily struggle for the lives of our fellow countrymen.
