KCS Industrial Technopark Gets Accredited by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation

KSC Industrial Technopark received state accreditation and entered the federal register of industrial technoparks of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

The corresponding Order was issued on November 14, 2023 by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The status obtained will enable to significantly extend the list of available state support measures aimed at development of the industrial site and its residents.

KSC Industrial Technopark is one of the largest production complexes in the Tver Region and the first private industrial technopark in the region. This is the single center of competence of KSC Group in the Tver Region for developing and producing equipment and components for transport machine building, including locomotives, passenger coaches, subway coaches, EMUs, low-floor trams, buses, electric buses and other types of transport.

The KSC Industrial Technopark project commenced in 2018. In late 2020, the first stage of KSC Industrial Technopark was launched and the main manufacturing buildings were put into operation. In December 2021, the engineering and business support building and the data processing center (DPC) were placed into service. At present, all production and administrative buildings are in use and technological processes are operating.

The residents of KSC Industrial Technopark are enterprises specializing in production of electronic and electrical components, climate control equipment, interior and exterior elements, as well as items from composite materials, welded metal structures and their painting, heat-exchange equipment and other components for transport. The buildings and structures of KSC Industrial Technopark cover the total area of 90,000 sq.m. The total number of jobs at the site exceeds 3,000. KSC Industrial Technopark residents produce over 300 items of vehicle components. During the period from 2019 to 2023, 4.23 bln rubles were invested in the project.

The project was launched and is implemented aided by the Government of the Tver Region and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation as part of the national project "Small and medium entrepreneurship and support of individual entrepreneurial initiative".

There are plans to implement new investment projects in 2024-2025. They are aimed at further development of KSC Industrial Technopark supported by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation - construction of two new buildings (production and painting facility and production and logistics one). The total budget of the projects will amount to minimum 2 bln rubles.
